"The most important event of the year for us was the appearance at the Tire Technology Expo 2012 in Cologne", Günter Simon, Managing Director of the Harburg Freudenberger Maschinenbau GmbH sums up the HF Group Teams' work at the trade fair from 14th - 16th February.
For twelve years now, leading specialists from the tire technology industry have used this event to meet up and exchange ideas, spark joint ventures and to get up to speed with the latest in research developments. There is no better place to keep your finger on the pulse than here. The event was extremely popular this year too: 2418 visitors had the opportunity of meeting around 751 exhibitors, of hearing 132 presentations and of obtaining an overview of the entire spectrum of the tire manufacturing process.
In Hall 8, the international HF team of 25 employees from Germany, the US, Great Britain and Croatia demonstrated a great show of strength and were able to master the consistently high numbers of visitors as a result. The HF Group met with considerable interest. "We have every reason to be satisfied: We have completed two projects, generated several assignments and made some serious preliminary dialogues which could lead to new projects at a high level", rejoiced Product Segment Manager Ulrich Busch, Norbert Behrendt and Dirk Wiegrefe.
Plus, the client evening was a great success again, even though the circumstances at the beginning were not easy. Competing events were also taking place at the same time. But, there was no hanging about waiting for any of the 135 invited guests, colleagues, customers or interest parties. "In the "bauwerk" in Cologne, we were able to forge new connections, build-on existing ones and conduct many a valuable discussion in its relaxed and informal atmosphere", Günter Simon is pleased by this and sums up with: "The Tire Technology Expo is an important event within our industry, the results have surpassed our most daring expectations". We have been spurred on by this and intend to show a strong presence in 2013."
